Handcrafted Furniture in Sussex, UK

We make handcrafted benches and woven furniture in Sussex, using solid hardwoods, steam-bent detailing and handwoven Danish cord. Every stage of the process is carried out by us, from the shaping and joinery of the timber to the weaving and natural dyeing of the cord.

Rooted in a deep respect for traditional craft, our work is informed by the quiet restraint of Japanese design and the warmth of natural materials. We focus on honest construction, refined proportions and pieces intended to become lasting parts of everyday life.

Working primarily with locally sourced oak and ash, we are building a collection of woven seating designed to balance utility, comfort and timelessness.
